What impact you will have
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with 6–8 years of experience to support our growing operations in India. This role will manage local HR operations w, hile partnering closely with the global People and IT teams to ensure smooth employee onboarding, system access, and operational support.
This function will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, HR compliance, people systems, and IT coordination, while helping to build scalable HR processes in a fast-growing international technology company.
What you’ll do
Operations, Compliance & Employee relations.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees in India.
Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within the HRIS.
Prepare and administer employment contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
Ensure a smooth employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, statutory requirements, and employment regulations.
Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Support internal audits and HR compliance reviews.
Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees in India.
Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace matters.
Support resolution of employee issues in a fair and professional manner.
HR Systems & IT
Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and other people systems.
Support implementation and ongoing management of global HR technology platforms.
Assist with documentation and improvement of HR processes and policies.
Support reporting and people analytics where required.
Coordinate with IT to ensure timely setup of employee accounts, system access, and equipment during onboarding.
Support the offboarding process by ensuring proper revocation of system access and return of company equipment.
Support adoption and use of internal systems across employees.
Global HR, Recruiting & Talent support
Partner with global People team members to ensure consistency of HR practices across regions.
Support global HR initiatives such as performance management, engagement programs, and organizational development efforts.
Partner with the global talent team to support recruitment processes.
Coordinate candidate communications.
Support hiring documentation and onboarding preparation.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
6–8 years of HR experience, ideally in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role.
Experience working in a technology startups and international companies highly preferred.
Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
Experience managing employee lifecycle processes and HR operations.
Experience working with HRIS platforms and people systems.
Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, and Operations.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
