About Submer
Submer enables organizations scaling AI to overcome the limits of traditional datacenters across power, compute density and efficiency.
We design and deliver scalable, high-density AI datacenter infrastructure built around industry-leading liquid cooling, supporting everything from early AI deployments to full-scale production environments.
Acting as a full-stack delivery partner, Submer provides advisory, design, build and IT integration through a single point of accountability, working with a deep ecosystem of technology specialists. This end-to-end approach accelerates time-to-AI while reducing operational cost, complexity and environmental impact.
The result is AI infrastructure that performs today, scales predictably and avoids the redesigns and inefficiencies slowing the market down.
What impact you will have
You will join the Product Sales & Marketing Team as the end-to-end business leader for a standard, off-the-shelf Modular Power POD product line. The Power POD is a prefabricated containerized solution integrating power and cooling infrastructure for high-density, liquid-cooled AI deployments (container, power transformer, RMU, UPS, CRAC/CRAH, batteries, power cabinets and optional chillers). You will act as a “mini-GM” for this product line, owning market insight, product strategy, roadmap and financial performance (P&L) from concept to end-of-life. The role combines strong MEP understanding with business, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills to deliver safe, code-compliant, cost-effective and repeatable Power POD solutions.
What you’ll do
Understand customer needs for standard Modular Power PODs combined with high-density liquid-cooled racks and tanks products developed at Submer:
Translate market needs into scalable, repeatable product definitions.
Engage with datacenter operators, hyperscalers, colos, micro DCs, EPCs, and integrators to define what “off-the-shelf but configurable” means in practice.
Analyze competing containerized power/cooling solutions and reference architectures to identify differentiation and white space for the Power POD line.
Define and own the Modular Power POD vision, roadmap and portfolio evolution.
Ensure alignment with the tank, rack and DLC roadmaps, so that customers can buy coherent end-to-end, liquid-ready bloc solutions.
Own the business case and P&L for the Power POD product line.
Define pricing structures for PODs and discount rules with Finance and Sales, securing margin in large AI infrastructure deals.
Monitor revenue, gross margin, configuration mix and pipeline; drive corrective actions when the Power POD line deviates from objectives.
Translate market and project requirements into Power POD standard product specifications:
Define standard configurations and option packs with controlled customization.
Own the product lifecycle of the Power POD from introduction, growth, maturity to end-of-life,
Support Sales on Power POD deals, configuration, sizing, compliance and trade-offs.
Contribute to standard offer documentation, RFQ templates, tender responses, reference designs and TCO/value arguments for containerised power/cooling blocks.
Enable scalable GTM through standard offers, documentation and training sales channels, partners and internal teams on the Power POD catalogue.
What you’ll need
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services/MEP Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years in product management, product line management, or solution ownership for MEP, containerised/datacenter infrastructure, or industrial power/cooling systems; 10+ years total experience strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of MEP systems for containerized or modular datacenter / industrial power and cooling solutions.
Ability to operate credibly across mechanical, electrical and fluid systems in packaged infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with codes, standards and compliance for containerized/datacenter MEP solutions.
Experience designing or managing modular, standardised products with controlled customisation.
Business/management education (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
Our job titles may span more than one job level. The actual base pay is dependent on a number of factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
