Our technology is designed to reduce environmental impact while improving performance and efficiency. We are a purpose-driven company with a passion for innovation and a growing global presence.
What impact you will have
We’re looking for an Electrical CAD Designer to support the electrical engineering team in producing models, drawings and documentation for data center electrical systems and modular MEP assemblies. You’ll convert engineering concepts into accurate 2D and 3D layouts covering power distribution, lighting, grounding, conduits and equipment arrangements. This role works closely with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, controls teams and systems architects to ensure coordinated electrical designs through all stages of development and construction.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain 2D and 3D electrical models, drawings and layouts for power distribution, branch circuits, conduits, cable trays and electrical equipment.
Produce plans, one-line diagrams, schematics, panel schedules, conduit routing, grounding layouts and installation details.
Maintain accurate electrical models in Revit or CAD platforms, ensuring updates align with engineering direction and project standards.
Coordinate electrical layouts with mechanical, plumbing, structural and architectural teams to support a clash-free, well-integrated design.
Incorporate engineering markups, redlines and design changes throughout concept development, design progression and construction.
Support the creation and maintenance of electrical CAD standards, templates, drafting libraries and documentation workflows.
Participate in model reviews and coordination sessions with cross-functional teams.
Assist with as-built updates based on field feedback, vendor information and commissioning input.
Maintain organized file structures, version control and consistent drawing practices.
What you’ll need
Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, drafting, electrical design or a related field.
3–6 years of experience as an electrical CAD or Revit designer in MEP, industrial or commercial building projects.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks or other coordination tools is preferred.
Understanding of electrical systems including medium- and low-voltage distribution, emergency power systems, grounding and lighting.
Ability to interpret one-lines, wiring diagrams, specifications and engineering sketches.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA and general electrical design practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, accurate and well-organized drawings.
Good communication skills and comfort working with engineers, designers and other disciplines.
Our job titles may span more than one job level. The actual base pay is dependent on a number of factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
