What impact you will have
Through test planning, design, execution, and reporting, the system test engineer plays a pivotal role in identifying bugs or bottlenecks early in the product development cycle, reducing costly rework and enabling more efficient product launches. The system test engineer also serves as a key bridge between engineering, product, and operations teams, translating system requirements into actionable test cases and collaborating on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of both product and process.
What you’ll do
- Setting up test equipment, executing functional, performance, and stress tests on server components including CPUs, GPU, memory, storage, networking, and power supplies
- Working with cross-functional teams to write test plans and create test cases for the product
- Validating our products to ensure our products meet the design requirements and qualification criteria
- Troub-shooting errors or issues occurring in the test and streamlining the test procedures
- Preparing test reports for the internal and external customers
- Communicating with managers, customers, design partners, vendors and stakeholders regarding any issues or challenges
- Supporting lab operations, including setup, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, physics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in server hardware testing, system integration testing, CPU, GPU or memory performance and workload testing, or related field
- Strong server system trouble shooting experience is required, with attention to detail
- Ability to document, analyze, and communicate complex technical issues clearly
- Hands-on experience with server hardware installation, test instrumentation and automation tools
- Basic experience with server system BIOS and BMC firmware
- Basic SysAdmin Linux knowledge
- Basic knowledge of heat transfer, thermal analysis and immersion cooling
- Coding ability to optimize test procedures is a plus
