What Impact you will have

As the Innovation and Engineering Strategy Lead, you will drive transformative change by aligning our engineering efforts with the company’s innovation agenda. Your forward-thinking strategies, technical expertise, and bold leadership will inspire teams to challenge the status quo, pioneer new technologies, and solve complex problems. By fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity, you will ensure that our engineering solutions remain at the cutting edge, delivering meaningful value to both the organization and its customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Work with R&D leaders to align innovation projects with company strategy and market demands.
• Lead efforts to evaluate emerging technologies and trends to integrate into the R&D pipeline.
• Support the evaluation and prioritization of R&D initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and resource availability.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment on objectives and communicate progress effectively.
• Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring teams and implementing processes that encourage creative problem-solving.
• Monitor and report on the progress of innovation and engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and company OKR.
• Foster collaboration between R&D, engineering, and other departments (e.g., marketing, sales) to translate innovation into market-ready products.
• Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working, ensuring buy-in from teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in leading innovation or engineering strategies within a technology-driven environment or consultancy firm.
• Ideally coming from an engineering academic background.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies effectively.
• Proven ability to balance creative thinking with pragmatic decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for building relationships and driving partnerships.
• Fluent level of English.
