Role Overview:
Submer Immersion Cooling is seeking a visionary Regional Vice President for North America to lead our expansion efforts. Reporting directly to the WW Chief Revenue Officer, this pivotal role will shape and execute Submer's sales strategy. We are looking for an innovative leader with a hands-on, player-coach mindset, capable of expanding both direct and indirect channels whilst fostering significant growth and a culture of innovation.
As the RVP, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing our sales strategy to capitalize on opportunities in North America. Your approach will embody servant leadership principles, empowering your sales team to excel. From overseeing intricate, integrated projects to cultivating collaborative partnerships, your role will be instrumental in unlocking Submer's full potential.
Collaborating cross-functionally, you will work closely with teams across the organization to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities for success. Your strategic mindset and proactive approach will not only identify new business opportunities but also cultivate and expand existing relationships. Your ability to navigate complex sales processes and leverage your deep understanding of the market will be essential in driving Submer's success in North America.
In addition to identifying and solidifying strategic partnership opportunities, you will scale existing ones, leveraging your understanding of both direct and indirect sales channels. Collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams, you will co-create market solutions.
About You:
- You should have 10+ years of IT and/or data center ecosystem experience with a mix of direct and channel/partner-led sales roles.
- Experience in larger company environments combined with successful operations in Private Equity or VC-backed environments is highly desirable.
- You should have experience working with Product teams and Partners in co-creating market solutions.
- Your background should also include creating and scaling partnerships with Cloud providers, Distributors, Resellers, SIs, and OEMs, driving revenue with partners, and establishing partner GTM models.
- Your passion and expertise in setting and iterating channel sales strategies, including direct involvement in creating or evolving a channel program to scale, are critical to your impact.
- Expertise in evaluating current-state performance to influence strategy iteration, strategic partnership structures, and developing and rolling out global programs is essential. You must also understand the market landscape and the ability to determine which customers to focus on directly to create market demand for immersion cooling.
- You must be extremely knowledgeable about the interworking of Cloud/Data center providers and have experience in analyzing performance metrics, short- and long-term technology development planning, and evaluating strategies for progress.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, both internal and external, are necessary, as is competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions. You should have a proven track record of success in affecting change in a market.
